Phee, it's going to be a long while before we turn the lights out around here. A long while.

Now you've got me started ... again.

And even with the lights out, the vamps can see in the dark... they're pretty hard to shake...

Good.

That's a beautiful statement. I'm spread out on other boards myself for the same reasons.

WHAT? Moonlight got cancelled? I don't think so...I am fortunate enough to see new episodes any day of the week I want to.
WHAT? There was a problem with the writers, etc...on Moonlight? I don't think so...I know for a fact the writing has only gotten better and better.

I was doing pretty well until I read your post, Phee - and burst into tears. As long as I have tales to tell, I'll be here. As long as there's readers to read them, I'll be here. As long as the friends I've made hang here, so will I.

Just want to add my thanks to all the wonderful fan fic writers! You feed my need for Moonlight in any form. I, too, have never been caught up in a TV show nor have I read fan fic before. Moonlight caught me and has yet to let me go. But then, I don't want it to. Although, I don't write I am a voracious reader and love all the Moonlight characters and love having their stories live on.
I hope for Alex that things work out with TR but MSJ is my first love and most likely always will be. I have seen most of his work and my opinion is that he is much better than a medium actor. I base this on the varied roles I've seen him play which he has done justice to. I'm not into medical dramas but will watch for Alex. I hope it is well written and different enough from former medical dramas so that it catches my interest. I also hope the other member of the Moonlight cast do well in their future endeavors.
Have a great Memorial weekend, everyone.

Allegrita, that was a gorgeous post and with it, you've proved why you are a spectacular writer.
Ya'll will have to break the chains I've used to attach myself to this place, if you expect me to leave. I ain't goin' nowhere.

Actually, call me crazy if you want, but I think the Moonlight world we got with the wonderful fanfic is much better than anything they could ever have filmed. Of course it would have been nice to have seen some of this on screen, but it wouldn't have been half as good as the movie that runs in my head when I read your stories.
Moonlight is alive and kicking. If only we here know it, and everyone else calls us delusional, so be it.
Moonlight is about eternity, about friendship, about love and about the sacrifices you sometimes have to make. It's about the dangerous, difficult and complicated, and how to overcome it. We certainly did.
Love ya all!!!

I'm there with the tissues for a good girl-cry, my friend. I feel the same way.

Sorry PNWgal.

Didn't mean to make you cry.

Yes.
Sorry, Kel.

And thank you for saying you would
talk some sense into me - not
beat it into me!

BTW, I don't want anyone to leave. I'm feeling melancholy, (mostly due to cabin fever from being inside due to the storm), and started wondering when people will get bored and look for newer interests.
There is a back door to MLA. I moved into Mick's place in the Moonlight Ambiance sub forum, but since there is no food in Mick's kitchen, I have to come back here [my house] from time to time for food.
Honestly, I am sane.

Francis, if you're crazy then I am too. OK, bad example.
I "see" the stories playing out when I read, too.

Which leads to

Thanks, O.Z

(And it's only been up for a few hours ... so no need to be sorry for not mentioning it before.)
