Any idea of when 3R begins filming? I would imagine that tv shows premiering for the fall are on hiatus----until maybe July/August?

Just curious as to his schedule as far as filming both BUP and 3R.
i'm here lol

Usually for a romantic comedy it takes around 2-3 months to shoot, they might be done with TBUP at the very end of July, and for TV usually they start filming in July, begining, mid or end of July.

While watching golf on CBS today ( yes, sad I know :snicker: ) I caught the very brief trailer for Three Rivers and I could have sworn that they pronounced Alex's name O'Locklin, so maybe they've got the message at last :hyper2:

Actually golf is probably a very good place to advertise a doctor show... given that I think they teach a required course in Advanced-Golf-and-Cocktails-on Wednesdays in med school... :evillaugh:

I really need to remember to turn on CBS in the evenings to catch an ad. Last night was spent watching the MTV Movie Awards.

2 teen daughters---enough said.

grace---Actually, it wasn't too bad---funny moments and Kings of Leon performed, so I had my Alex connection! And the fact that we are all Twilight fans here was well worth it.

I kept thinking that I hope there is at least one great kissing scene in BUP---because then Alex has a chance at being nominated for best kiss next year. That man infiltrates way too many of my thoughts.

Nah... not really possible... too many? Nah.

And still, Sweetie, better you than me with the MTV... my teen was studying for exams last night, so I did watch Cold Case, which I've never seen before... or I sorta watched it. I kept having to go do things... and if there WAS a 3R commercial, I never saw it...

Here's an article on Carol Barbee (writer and exec producer), from The Hollywood Reporter: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/con ... 95546051a4

Which I hope is good news... thanks, Red...

Also, as reported over at the 3RFans site, CBS has updated the 3R promo... sans Julia. For those able to access the site, here is the link:

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/three_rivers/

To me, it now looks like the Alex and Kate show, as these two are by far the featured players... but who knows?

If you continue to read the comments left at the CBS webpage, Alex does get the majority of posts (although, sadly, some of those are still berating CBS for canning ML... oy vey!) and Kate gets a ton also. Daniel Henney seems to be getting his fair share, so I hope he is sufficiently featured in the show to draw that fan base... and interestingly, the city of Pittsburgh is garnering quite a few commies, with folks saying they will watch just to support their town. And a few comments are from folks in the medical profession or the from the transplant community eager to see this topic highlighted on television. Hopefully this variety of interest will translate into good ratings for the newly contracted Ms. Barbee and her handsome star. :mooncat:

The new version of the promo is about 5-6 seconds shorter than the original one; I only noticed Julia's interview missing, the rest looked the same to me.
I even went through all 303 posts about the show and counted about 25 for Kate Moening with one very negative, the same amount more or less for Daniel Henney and his comments were basically about how hot he is, 5 or so about "bring back ML" and the rest were about Alex. All but one or two from Alex's comments were very positive!
Some posters focused on the premise of the show and the entire cast but overall it was all Alex :hearts:
I am curious about what the writers are planning for Julia's character.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Alex's character based on a surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic? Gonzo something or another? I only bring this up because I am curious to see if there is more info about the show in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. I will have to research that---I bet there are interviews with that doctor concerning the show.
