Thanks for the ratings info, Suz. I'm so glad to see an improvement - and that CBS recognise it. Is 25-54 a usual demo to quote, does anyone know?
Here's hoping for continuing improvement.

And can someone explain the politics of the re-broadcast to me? Is this a good thing? Or just a timeslot filler?

Yes, 25-54 is a usual demo. It's not as desired as the 18-49 audience but with the aging television audience it is becoming more common.

Also, for those of us in the U.S., CBS is rebroadcasting Episode 3 - "Good Intentions" - this coming Saturday night (10/24) at 8:00 pm EDT/9:00 ET/PT.
I'm
so feeling the love at the moment.

Rebroadcast is cheaper for the networks then paying for a new show. Usually only shows that are successful are rebroadcast but it is usually filler.

On the other hand, in this case I think they are making an effort for Three Rivers to find more of an audience. One could wish for another night than Saturday, but I'll take what I can get. And it does look like they're trying to get it an audience.

The positive thing about a Saturday rebroadcast is it will be fresh in people's minds for new episode on Sunday.

I really don't think we can complain about CBS this time around..they are doing their darnedest to promote TR and see it succeed..maybe they learned a little something after last time after all..

A little more good news in addition to the uptick in ratings and the scheduled rebroadcast is that there's NO football double-header this coming Sunday!
