I think it's kind of ironic that with all the antiques in the room Josef is still the oldest.

Exactly!!!! I think of them as souvenirs of his numerous lives.

We could have a fanfic challenge just choosing items and providing the back story to how Josef acquired them.

Jason must have really enjoyed bringing Josef Kostan to life--he did such a superb job of it. The way he handled the snark--and made it his trademark, the fascinating combination of youthful exuberance and the wisdom of ages, the charm and attractiveness combined with a deadliness that could make your blood run cold, and many other dichotomies that made up the fascinating contradiction that was Josef Kostan was a major force in the power of Moonlight.
