HotMicks, in addition to having an eye, I also think it's a body confidence thing. In all of the photoshoots we've seen, no matter how Alex has been styled (and some styling has been more successful than others) he always looks comfortable in his own skin. The videos of shoots also show (I think) that he's comfortable following the photographers' instructions - trusting their instincts about what will work on camera - and going with it.

And PNWgal, I am nodding along vigorously re Alex's tailor. Happy memories of the suit he wore to the BUP premiere in London will live with me for, um, a loooong time.

And still very envious of Red and Alle, who saw the 3D versions of those pics.

So true. But you still see loads of gorgeous/famous/celebrity/model types who never really look at home in front of a stills camera. It's probably a combination of the God-like looks, the actorly training that gets rid of physical inhibitions, a sense of style and a love of fashion, and his delightful down-to-earth-ness (yes, I know that's not a word. But it should be.)

And I've realised that like most things Alex-related, I have given this way too much thought.

love that picture red. that's a really good look for him, but then what isn't?

I doubt it's 'Shopped, but it's probably retouched a tad. After all, it was a published photo.
