Dear Moonlightaholics,

We are going to have to take our wonderful Gallery offline for a while, due to some problems with the Gallery's web host. This will NOT affect our main board at all, except that the Gallery won't be available. Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to make the Gallery available again as soon as possible, but at this point we don't know how long that will take.

One of the issues we are dealing with is the huge number of images we have in our Gallery. Therefore, to reduce the number of files, we will have to eliminate the intermediate-sized images, the ones that display with the filmstrip. The big pages of thumbnail pictures and the big-sized screencaps will remain. We may also spend some time going through the screencaps and removing unusable or redundant images.

We'll keep you updated on our progress as we work on this issue, and we appreciate your patience and understanding!

This board runs so smoothly that it's sometimes hard to realize how much work goes into it. Hearing about issues like this is such a reminder of how much work gets done behind the scenes. I don't know what all happens in the mods' "dailies," and it would probably be beyond my computer-comprehension anyway, but I wish there was a way to thank you enough for all you do here!

Hi, folks. We're still working on the reconfiguration of the Gallery. It's a tedious process and we have a good deal more to do. However, as of now, all of the intermediate size images have been removed. I'm actually quite pleased with the result and hope you all will be as well.

We're putting the Gallery back online for now. It may be down from time to time, but we'll do our best to minimize any inconvenience. If you do find it offline at a time when you would really like to grab a few images, please PM me and I'll see what I can do about making it accessible.
