Thanks for giving this one a bump, cassy! I read back over it, and if I can say so without sounding too full of myself, I do think it's a nice piece of writing.

I'd thought for a long time that "Dead Man's Party" was a story that I couldn't really tie into my personal vision of how Josef came to be turned, but this let me bridge the gap (after a fashion) between that and "Control."
