I do not own any recognizable characters no copyright infringement is intended.
Love, is too small a word to describe it. After all these centuries I never thought I’d find the man that would light my fire. Hundreds of men have tried to own me and I didn’t even give them a fraction of my heart. Mick loves more than my beauty, my passion for living is what really appeals to him. It’s not just the sex, although he’s talented for a mortal. It’s the look in his eyes when I enter the room He wants to be with me forever. A man that loves life this much has to have immortality.

Oh, wow! What an awesome look at Coraline!

Passionate love, indeed. And that last line...
Nicely done, Carol!

That's the essence of enduring love, in Coraline's mind. I love this, cassy!

You so have her, cassy. Well meaning, but deluded. I really can understand her view point here, even though it's skewed in a way we know will damage Mick. I love the little put down as well...

... so Coraline.

What a wonderful look into Coraline's mind and intentions!
Here, she is not simply doing what she does to get just what she wants, she truly cares for him and in her mind, she was truly giving him a gift.
Thank you!
Jenna

Coraline has her own way of seeing things and people. For her, Mick was too good to waste in mortality. He wouldn't see it that way. Well done, cassy!

I'm happy to reread this. Coraline looks at immortality as a prolonging of life, but to Mick it was murder--and even worse, it was the theft of his whole life, because he could never go back to the people he loved. I've always thought of them as being incapable of seeing the other one's point of view, despite the fact that they truly did love each other. You've really captured her.
