Love endures. Challenge #146 PG

Hello all. 
So after a very busy end of 2012, beginning of 2013, I'm dipping my toe in with a few drabbles for the 'Love Endures' Challenge. They are my first drabbles... ( I always have far too much to say for 100 words.
) So hopefully my lovely friends here at MLA will like them. And many thanks to the lovely Alle for once again, helping me with my tenses. ( I am doomed to fiddle with them forever. 
)

‘Still awake, huh….?’ Her eyes are sparkling.
Heh. How could she have expected me to sleep after this? I half smile and kiss her. It’s all I can do.
When she finally slipped her hand into mine last night, and led me through to her room? All I could see was that beautiful, tear-streaked face. All I could hear were those words she’d given as her answer after we kissed.
‘Oh, Mick… I love you so much.’

Love Endures
Pulling the covers up I can’t help but let my fingers brush against her soft skin. And she wakes a little and smiles. ‘Still awake, huh….?’ Her eyes are sparkling.
