I know we have a VM thread in Past Projects, but this is big news and had the potential to be a "new" project for Jason...

This morning at 11:00 EDT, Rob Thomas launched a Kickstarter project to fund the long-awaited Veronica Mars movie!

With Warner Brothers' blessing and key stars on board to film this summer, the goal is to raise $2,000,000 by April 12.

In just over an hour, they've raised almost $200,000!

I found myself giggling all the way through the video. I really, really hope they succeed in getting the funding and making the movie.

I don't think there's any question that they'll get the money. They already have $937,000 and they are only hours into it.

I bet Kristin and Rob are amazed at how fast this is happening.
