These moments are always bittersweet for me. I love that he's getting exposure and is successful. But, as irrational as it is, I feel a little possessive and want to keep him to all to ourselves. Like I said, irrational. The man does not belong to anyone but himself. But I think some of you understand.

Here's what appears to be a translation by a fan site. If you google the first line "Ser un símbolo sexual puede ser un asunto de salud... Al menos para Alex O'Loughlin.", there are references. When those are put through Spanish translation, they are kind of wacky versions of this translation.

It's interesting because it gives more insight into the whole pain killer situation.

I happen to know Silvia, and she lives in Spain, so that was a translation done by a native speaker. European phrases and words don't always translate well into English, so things read a little funky.

Sounds like he was WAY more injured than he let on, and was a little more than "I needed help to stop taking them" reliant on his meds.

I also love that he doesn't like to be photographed without permission, because it IS rude. He seems very gracious when fans want to be photographed with him, so why not give him that courtesy?
