Lunch Dates (G)

Oh my god, is that Mick getting out of Tierney Taylor’s car? How awkward is this?! First he takes my breath away with those kisses on the rooftop, then I don’t hear a word from him for a week - and now he shows up here with that celeb-du-jour and finds me having lunch with Ben!

Well, at least he knows my being with Ben is only for work.

I mean, he does know that, right?

Hmm... after that look he just gave me, maybe he doesn’t. As soon as I’m done I’m going to talk to him.

My pleasure--it was fun! And I love this little voiceover. Poor Beth, this is pretty darn awkward, isn't it? They're both apparently on dates with other people... even though neither actually is. Good thing Beth has the courage to go talk to him about it. You know Mick wouldn't have done that. He'd just have angsted like crazy about it.

What I like best is that you can see all these things on Beth's face in that scene... now we finally get to hear her thoughts!

Fortunately she would go talk to him yes... although honestly, not getting back to Beth for a week... I'm actually glad to see him sweat a bit, I have to admit!
