Wow. Those are really beautiful. I sure do miss Mick!

I don't know how to post the actual pic, but I just stumbled on this picture. It's not one I remember seeing before.

Oh, it is really beautiful! "Jilly" posts as yukonjill on Instagram. She owns some unreleased promo photos of Mick, some of which are just amazingly beautiful--I bet that is one of them. She always watermarks her personal photos, and indicates the ones that are from her collection of unreleased promos in the captions. Check out her Instagram page, and you'll see more Mick pictures, including unreleased promo photos. It's nice of her to share her treasure trove. :hearts:

I saw this amazing post on Instagram and wanted to share it. Here is a panorama picture of Los Angeles in early 1930, when Mick would have been 7 years old (he'd turn 8 in November of that year). You can see part of Pershing Square and the Biltmore Hotel, but unfortunately I don't think you can see the Title Guarantee building. It's so cool, though... I love seeing LA as Mick would have seen it, growing up. :hearts:

There are several very cool Instagram accounts that post historical Los Angeles pictures. This one is from @forgottenmadness_la, and there's also @laexplained and @historyofla. Check them out!

This is SO cool! You can see City Hall which opened in 1928. And the Title Guarantee Trust building was built in 1930 - but there's no sign of it yet.

Interestingly, the building seen under construction is the So Cal Edison Building used for Haggins office building in EP. 9: Fleur de Lis. The Internet says it was built in 1931, but that may just be when it opened.
