ETA - turns out they're not quite what I expected them to be. Who on earth is Gale Harold??? (90% of comments mention THAT name - not Alex) AND - Do comment, but please be civil. How about we keep it to 'factual' remarks?

Argh. I had this issue in my hot little hands, and was flipping through it for some mention of our Alex, and must have missed this.

Wait till they get a load of us voting for him!!

It's nice to see our Jason getting some love on this...and no, I haven't commented yet.

They already have pages of fans of Gale Herold (never heard of him) and posters are making fun of them.
So, just my friendly advice, try to be civil, don't bash anyone (not even the Evil Eye) and behave like adults, so our enthusiasm doesn't scare others.

Sorry, in my enthusiasm (imagine that) I misspoke and said 'vote' when I meant comment.

I wouldn't bash, but trying to act like an adult, that may be a stretch for me, francis!

I take this as a very good sign. Weren't we just wondering why there wasn't even a snippet, a photo, anything about Alex for months now? It wasn't because all those snippets, paparazzi photos etc. are leaked to promote something, and there wasn't anything to promote. So when now he is the face on this TV guide article, I guess that CBS is testing the waters to see if there is demand, and is creating demand by bringing his face up. It's the way this works.
And that means that there is something to promote in the near future that has to be prepared, publicity-wise.

Btw--tvguide.com was one of my hits last week in my Alex quest. I still haven't heard back from the other media outlets I contacted. But, in lieu of an email, I will happily accept an article and/or picture of Mr. O'L.

Okay guys, who the heck is this Gale guy, what show was he in. He has a rather loud fan base........

Gale Harold was the lead of Queer As Folk. He is on Desperate Housewives now, I think had his own show Vanished. He does have a very loud fanbase. I know I used to be one of them.

I've just mostly been disinterested... I haven't thought it was a stellar year... and they keep canceling the shows I do like... so I also apparently have off beat taste... as do, apparently, many of you all... sigh.
