HELP!! Ok so for my Promotion and Distrbution class we had to come up with a movie. My partner decided she wants to do the Moonlight movie. Her idea, not mine. (mind you i am the one who told her to watch it) so the assignment calls for us to make a budget using the salaries and box office of the actors and a director. I can't find anything on Alex. Anyone know about how much they made on ML? or his films. I'm having the same problem with Sophia.

Google SAG and look for "actor scale". It should give you a baseline for actors' pay rates and the defining factors that change them. Alex was the star, but he wasn't a well known actor, so his pay probably wasn't much better than the others'.

I don't think you're going to be able to figure out specifically what any of the ML actors made, but this chart may help you for your project. It's a bit confusing, but you should be able to get the basics from it. (I believe the amounts listed are per day rates)

I think the dates are through 2008 because SAG still hasn't settled on a new contract with networks and studios.

Thanks guys actually it did help a bit though its a budget for a indie film so it would be a bit more. a few million for a principle actor. Grrr this was supposed to be easy hehe.
