The nose doesn't seem quite right, but the mouth does. Hmmm...

This was posted 11/08 on YouTube. Silverstone is a British racing organization that sponsors, among other things, the British Grand Prix. The ad itself, though, is for Samsung Mobile.

If it's not Alex, he surely could be a "face double"! Wish we could see the eyes!

Okay I can't watch the clip at work, but from the stills, it doesn't look like Alex to me.

(Silverstone is one of the motor racing circuits over here BTW).

Okay, not obsessing here at all , but I've watch that clip like 10 times. But who's counting, right?

If its not Alex, its his doppleganger for sure! I tried to see if his ear was pierced, but couldn't really tell. The sideburns are dead-on, as is the hair for the Mick-time-frame. Even the glasses look like eyewear that Mick would wear. But they also hide his eyes. If I could see those eyes, there's not way in hell I'd not know if it was Alex.

I watched that ad 5 times.. I keep looking at the nose..that was my ONLY clue..

The guys looks just like Alex, but Alex's nose is narrower.. But his mouth and hair, and wow...that's amazing..

Someone needs to drop him a message on his MS page. I'm sure he'd remember if he did a commercial for Samsung over in England while he was there promoting Moonlight.

The coloring seems off... the hair is reallllllly dark and so are the eyebrows... but lighting can do that I reckon... hmmm.

It's hard to find a pic of Alex from that exact angle -- head on and head slightly back -- but here's a side by side comparison...





I'm still looking for a pic with his mouth open so that we can compare teeth.

I love this PI/forensic work we are doing... We need to compare teeth, sideburns, shape of ears, nose..and eye brows..

OH! The cleft would have been a give-away...they cover his chin...

They are teasing us..do they know they are teasing us...

Here are some open mouth shots. The teeth seem off to me but if it's not him looks like a long lost brother.

You can tell by the ears alone in the pics Lilly posted that it's not Alex. The shape is totally different for one thing and the bottom of Alex's ears end above his nose. The other guy's ears are much lower (and longer).

You may be right, mwj, but the tilt of the head in the two pics is different. In the commercial his head is tilted back more, which would change the way his ears lined up in relationship to his nose.

I agree that this guy in the ad is an amazing lookalike..but my money is on "not Alex"..I saw the clip too..and for one thing, his ears are not pierced...a dead giveaway.

But, lucky guy who is that handsome..and lucky girl who finds him! Maybe he could work as Alex's body double in some of his movies...
