This article isn't specifically about Alex, but it is about Simon Mirren, who wrote this episode, as well as being a co-exec producer on the show. He and Alex had also worked on another project (post-Moonlight and before Criminal Minds) that never came to fruition:

Hmmmm....interesting, red  . His departure may not bode well for CM, as it already has undergone some drama with the letting go of one cast member at the end of last season and the 'easing out' of another this season. Not to mention increasing production costs as the series ages.

What really intrigues me is what new project he's planning. :chin:

God! That is awesome!! I found myself applauding (fortunately I'm home alone so it didn't look weird at all :eyeroll: )... and then had to ponder what I was clapping for, the gif or the performance.

I'm thinking both deserved the O. :clapping: :clapping:

And one for Red :clapping: for bringing it here.

:thanks: Lucy!

I absolutely love this episode. Alex's acting capabilities never cease to amaze me. He has acted in such a wide variety of roles, and has brought each character to life. His portrayal of Vincent was amazing and so believable!

I will for sure be watching tomorrow night... with my kleenex box. :hankie: (seriously, I cry every time I watch it.)

I LOVE LocateTV....I just pop in my fave stars and they shoot me a schedule of WHEN the actor is available on TV.....

I plug the opportunities into NetFlix and become the obsessively pathetic fan that I am.......

I love this episode--not just because it's so beautifully acted, but also because it was the first time we'd seen Alex in a long time. It was so wonderful to see him on the TV again! (Plus I'm with you, Marigold--I cry every time I watch it. It's such a heartwrenching story.)

I just happened to turn on A&E, and Big Wheel was coming on. I'd forgotten how good it was!
