Aww, AussieJo, and diane31, thank you. This was one of my first stories, born out of a conversation in the writers thread back then. It's one of my babies. Des helped me because I was much less apt at finding the right english word all this time ago.

And another reread.

Francis, this is just wondeful. This is truly fabulous! You have taken another road with that last scene of Sonata and given us a wonderfully satisfying, equally plausible resolution.

Thank you!

(no promise that this is my last time reading this gem)

Jenna

Ooh, I'm so glad you popped this one back up, Jenna. I love it. Better than the end of Sonata, in some ways. It works so well--it's honest and it fits their characters. And it ties up that horrible loose end that was left hanging at the end of Moonlight. Dean Foster was a huge problem that was never addressed... and you fixed it with this story. Thank you, francis! :rose:

p.s. I miss Desdemona. :sigh:

Oh jen, you make my week! Thank you so much!

alle, I miss Desdemona too. She got me into writing better. My stories would be crap without her advice.

Your stories???

Doubt it.

This is just fabulous, Francis.

I have wondered if there was any association between Dean Foster of Click and Kelly Foster of NSTAV. Read a fic by somebody--can't remember who-- about this proving that I was not the only one wondering about the association.

Dean Foster was a huge loose end left hanging after Sonata.

Delicious twist on the end of Sonata!

Thank you!

Jenna

Back to reread this story. I swear, it's a perfect Mick-Beth conversation. Beth has fire and determination, Mick sees all the worst parts of it, and they have to struggle to bridge a difficult gap... but their love for each other overcomes their stubbornness and all of the problems driving them apart.

I would love to see a continuation of this story, where Mick confronts Josef... :chin:
