I few months back I get a call from some Ausie cat digging on my bikes. Next thing I know he is sitting in my shop with this ugly evo sporty with shitty overseas parts on it. Long story short, he talks me in to putting a runner together for him. I have to admit, I wasn't really in to it. First it was a sporty, second it was an evo and third, the cat is an actor. What the hell am I getting myself in to?
As it turns out, of course with JDs help, I am actually digging the bike. Simple clean runner with some cool one off do dads, and Alex turns out to be a pretty cool dude, for an Ausie actor.



Monday he stopped by to check the scoot. He ended up hanging for a few hours and got his hands dirty. Any dude that can hang in the man cave, get his hands dirty and tell jokes and stories about shooting a film with J Lo is alright in my book. Don't worry Alex, I won't call TMZ.

Gee, what a nice and non-judgemental person.

Anyway, bravo to Alex for winning over this so-and-so. More validation on his awesomeness.

Thanks Jade it looks like no one is immune from Alex's charm,nice to see he still loves his bikes and I wonder if the studio will let him ride them.

See, Alex can win over even guys who judge the book by the cover, or in this case the actor by his trade and his bike and his origin - was there anything that he didn't judge Alex about? - and still Alex wins him over by just being a hands on person, telling jokes and having no attitude.
I knew I had picked the right person to be a fangirl about, but now I am even more convinced.
I wonder how the fangirls of Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise can stand the behaviour of their objects of affection. We sure picked well. Go us! and Go Alex!

The guy was judgmental but he came around so it's all good. Loving the pics and loving the bike.

*smiles* Looks like Alex has earned another person's... shall we call it respect? Certainly, the guy was pleasantly surprised that Alex didn't meet his stereotypical idea of an actor and that's a start. But then again, we all know Alex could charm the door off of a barn...

And Alex definitely loves to ride. Jason mentioned at the Gala that he had just gone riding with Alex the week before. Now that's one trip I wouldn't have minded being a part of!
