So there is now a release date - and, finally, a trailer. It's hard to spot if Alex is actually in it, but, the good (and surprising) news, given all we've heard about the movie, is that the trailer is actually good (IMO). Take a look and see what you think:

ETA: the video has been pulled from YouTube (where this link was sourced) due to copyright issues. If I find another link, I'll add it in here. If anyone else finds an active link, please let me know.

I showed my kids this trailer and they thought it looked like a horror movie! I think the similarities with Pitch Black (the film that put Vin Diesel on the map) have them fooled. :snicker:

The trailer looks intense. Now, I need to make sure my library owns the graphic novel.

That sucks. Fer goshsakes, it's an AD. Don't the WANT people to know about this movie??? And maybe go see it???

(And for what it's worth, Alle, there was not one recognizable glimpse of our boy...so WB is not advertising the movie's greatest asset.)

I think if WB is thinking success a trailer with the AOL running nekid shot would be a huge help. JMO, of course. :yahoo: Now that's a global warming issue! :snicker:

Oh I'm quite impressed by that trailer. Makes me want to go see the movie and that's even with no glimpse of Alex.

Tho I am ONLY interested in a movie about snow, cold, and murder if it involves Alex...
I hated that damn penguin movie, and having young kids, oh yeah, we went to see it... more than once...
I prefer tropical settings... and realities... and drinks... :snicker:

Those penguins go thru hell... to what? Hatch a chick? They walk miles to get to the damn ocean and then miles back to get to the hatching place. And they don't walk so very fast... torture movie... animal abuse... by God... I guess...

Their best case scenario, IMO, is to get captured by some zoo... so they can be fed fish 3 times a day and hatch their young in above zero temperatures and see the sun every once in awhile... and all they have to put up with is gawkers...

I have never been so cold nor so miserable as I was watching that dang movie!
