Finally!!! I've managed to make a vid without using Windows Movie Maker. (It's only taken 47 vids. )
Still learning the new software so hopefully these will just keeping getting better.

I want to give a special shout out to Shadow for all the great advice she gave me on software. I've been trying to move past WMM for ages now and her great advice finally kicked my butt into action. Thank you.

So it's only taken me a day and a half but I've worked out what's wrong with the blog page so for those who don't wish to download to watch (although the quality is far better), I'll have the blog page up shortly.

coco, I downloaded but it wouldn't play. For some reason it downloaded as an mpeg rather than as a movie file. I'll toddle off to your blog to catch it, but I don't know if the megadownload issue is a problem with me or the file itself.

It's probably my fault Red. The upload options are all different from WMM and I'm having some issues shall we say trying to get the correct one. I'm going to try another file and see if I can get a movie file this time.

I loved it, coco. I hadn't realised quite how often Mick and Beth spoke on the phone!!!

Yay I finally saw it with sound. I don't know what my computer is doing today. It's always a little screwy. I love this video Coco, but I already told you why in my PM. I am so addicted to seeing those two together and you even put in the rooftop kiss.

There is now a new download link in the OP that is a movie file so hopefully no more issues for anyone. Apologies to everyone for the disaster this particular upload has been.

Oh, I love this song and this is such a beautiful video for it. (And Mick and Beth were on the phone a lot more than I had really realized!)
Love the way you fit the clips to the mood of the instrumental sections as well as to the lyrics -
And the way the effects fit the mood of the song as well.

(And with any luck, the rendering and uploading will be much easier from now on!)

Yay! I got there in the end.

Thanks so much for the lovely comments on my vid. I tried hard to work with the effects I've figured out so far so I'm glad they fit the mood of the vid as you said. I'm getting there slow but sure.

I'm hoping the next upload process won't be half as complicated as this one was now I think I know what I'm doing.
