Mick & Coraline - Losing Faith by Hungry Lucy

Just a couple of things:

1. I know this song has been used (rather famously) a couple of times in MickBeth vids but the lyrics are perfect for what I was trying to achieve here with this vid so I make no apologies for using it in a MickCora vid.

2. This vid is inspired by my recent re-read of Red's Anniversary.

LOVED IT! Absolutely LOVED it!

I love how you began and ended it in kinda the same place... his face, his beautiful besotted face, looking on as she walks away from him-- twice-- at her party... magnificent! And the sequence of scenes was perfect...

And dang, coco... Shannyn, for as little time as she actually spent on that set, got to spend an inordinate amount of it wrapped around or being kissed by Alex... never noticed that before, but d@mn!

Very emotional vid, honey... and really really lovely!

Pfffftttttt! Grace never said anything better than you... which the pfffffftttt probably just proved... but coco made an amazing tribute to Anniversary, which so deserves a wonderful tribute. Y'all are both consummate artists and I am a wonderful judge and jury of that...

I was really hoping you would like this one. You are the champion supporter of Anniversary so I wanted you to like this one too. Shannon did have a lot of scenes with Alex but I gotta tell you - I had some difficulty just trying to stick to the earlier MickCora scenes. I so wanted to use more Morgan stuff but it didn't really fit what I was trying to do.

Yay! I'm so pleased you liked it. Anniversary is such a special story for me and after the re-read the idea for the MickCora vid insisted on being made - even pushed my Mick one to the side.

And it's so nice to have made another MickCora one.

I know you are as big a fan of this song as I am and I just thought it was perfect for the tone I wanted to set here. Bewildered is what I was hoping for so I'm so chuffed it worked.

I love this vid! I never would have guessed there'd be enough material to fill an entire song, but you did it, fabulously so! I didn't know this song before, but it's very moving (Mick/Beth? No way! )

for Tam for bumping this up again. I still get a chill every time I watch it - so beautiful and so melancholy. Really beautiful work, coco.
