I just added some pictures and info for the prison exit, where Lee Jay was released.
The scene was filmed at the back of the Miguel Contreras Learning Center on the S. Bixel Street side between W. 3rd and W. 4th Streets.
View of the corner of Bixel and W. 3rd:

Good grief. I'm beginning to think our Lilly has supernatural detective powers, figuring this stuff out.
Amazing work!

Sad news... the beautiful Sixth Street Bridge / Viaduct, a downtown LA icon, is being torn down. You might recognize it from the cool dawn sequence in OOTP, just before the scene where Beth arrives at Mick's place and finds him, um... in a compromising position.
Here's an article about the Sixth St. Bridge replacement project. http://la.curbed.com/places/sixth-street-viaduct

That's terrible! I've seen that bridge in so many things.

I know! People around here are kinda heartbroken about it. They even threw the bridge a goodbye party.

Bixel Street!! I always tried to read the street sign. I though it said Drexel. Which is where Mick lives. Of course, Drexel Street isn't in downtown LA where the FOS is. But Mick wouldn't live downtown. He would be a westside guy, wouldn't he?
Wow I am soooo confused.

They finally tore down the parking garage! By “finally” I mean that in 2008 I heard that the parking garage was going away soon. Twelve years later... It looks like two new buildings are under construction at the location.

Wow, so they finally did it! Downtown Los Angeles is changing a lot these days. So many new buildings going up.
