Oh my! I loved this! Great companion piece to the first one!

If possible, I loved this one even more than the first. It seems that Mick and his blood have developed a working relationship over the years. Mick takes care of the blood, and the blood takes care of Mick. But that trip through the desert put a big strain on the friendship, and the blood got pretty demanding. But Mick wouldn't give in! I think the blood was downright offended at his refusal to feed on Leni. I loved the funny way you portrayed Mick's struggle. But the humor gets overcome by the beautiful ending, as Beth's blood fills and completes Mick and his blood... and feeds not just his body, but his heart and soul as well. No wonder they fell in love.
