I just KNEW Josh was up to no good. Anniversary dinner at the morgue?!

The only dissapointment here is that Josh was still alive. I hope the Cleaner is into some torture.

You have to admit, GA, it was a clever way to ensure Beth couldn't ditch him for the morgue again... Thanks for reading!

I haven't had time to read any of the other submissions. :?

This is great, Julie. And I think the ending's perfect just as it is!!!

Desperation (and a desire to prove what a big man you are) can make someone do very, very foolish things. Josh, Josh, Josh, no matter how hard you try, you're never gonna be as cool as Mick. Taking your girlfriend to the morgue does NOT make you cool. Sheesh.

Oh and I LOVED Guillermo here - you always give him such great dialogue. :D

Thanks so much, Red! Glad you appreciated my ending! Trust me, if I ever write an end to this it will be a very short multiple choice thing. Haven't had time yet though.

You know, I don't think I've done Guillermo before...

ETA: I almost had Guillermo come in and say, "Hello, Mr. Lindsey, sir! --Is that a pic-a-nic basket?" ...But then I changed the story around.

Okay so I imagined that you always write great dialogue for G. At least I didn't imagine you always wrote terrible dialogue for him... :snicker:

Pic-a-nic basket, huh?

Is that why you said in your Author's Note that any boo-boos are yours? :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

(My deepest apologies to Hanna-Barbera!!) :snicker:

Tee hee, Red--I am also glad you didn't imagine I write Guillermo terribly.

Grace--Why, thank you! :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

Alle--Hah, no, I'd wasn't thinking about Boo Boo when I wrote that author's note! :snicker: I haven't seen Yogi Bear in possibly a couple of decades, since I was a young'un. I had to Google him to find out what his line was again...and then I didn't use it.

Julie,

How could you do that to us? Come up with a great story then leave us all hanging :evillaugh:

Loved how you put Marissa in her place, but what's going to happen when the Cleaner shows up???

Seriously, this is a great story and leaving the ending as you did has each of us imagining what happened....

Jen, thanks so much! :hearts: Glad you loved it. Sorry it had to end...I still might do some multiple choice endings though or something like that--we'll see.

Thank you, Karen! How could I do that to you, you ask?--oh, very easily! Leaving the end to your imaginations was exactly as I planned it (especially when I was lazy and running out of time ;)). And that's how Moonlight ended, is it not?

Febulous.

This year I read Beth and Mick's Third Anniversary Party before rereading this one. They really do go together.

Would love to see another one this year.

Just sayin'
