Half time... checking in... and yes he IS being adorable tonite.

The eps are always better than the promos for me... I wonder why that is?
But I am liking this far more than I thought I would. The guest actors are better than the promos suggested.

And I'm loving the glimpses into Dr. Lee in this one.

However... and it's just halftime... but they gave us a glimpse into Andy's personal history with the rugby scene. What up with that? No further reference to it so far... so why does "Mick" hate him so? Who did Andy screw over to get across the river?

I hope they give us something in the second half...
(I am far better at making football references than in actually watching football... :giggle: )

Each week we're getting better and better.....I like this episode the best so far....the personalities of all the characters are coming through and the story line tonight is quite good. Each of the main characters is getting some time to shine.

If the critics don't like this one, they have no taste.

grace, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was just a tiny "seed" they planted tonight. We may not see any germination for a couple of weeks.

Dr. Andy has a very appealing idealism, and an intrinsic sweetness...which seems very Alex.

Interesting scene between Dr. Andy and Joaquin Phoenix (heh. ;) ). Thisclose to going to jail, eh? Motorcycle? Yeah, I can't wait to hear more about Andy's past.

Dr. Andy almost went to prison? OK, I'm hooked - gotta know his back story.

I'm also looking forward to Ryan dealing with the "bottom feeder" Dr Lee. I haven't figured out what motivates Dr Lee.

Oh yeah..that back story is gonna be good. As for Dr. Lee, I see a bit of a prankster.....he seems to like pulling Ryan's chain, but I think he'll come to like him.

I thought Joaquin looked just a tad vampirish... guess it's the illness... :giggle:

I agree. Very strong ep. WHY the HELL did they show that first one first? It was the weakest one!

I love all these doctors... but as I am an Alex girl... he is really starting to rock Dr. Andy. And good for him!

Tho how do they count the numbers for THIS week? Over an hour overtime and no Cold Case, tho that is what my tivo says I recorded.

A random thought about TR...it's interesting to me that this show is so much about second chances and redemption, because that is all Mick ever wanted...a second chance at being human, redemption for his past misdeeds.

I do wonder if Alex is drawn to this sort of role, because Will Bryant was also a man seeking a new life, and a new start.
