Baby Jenks, who runs aol-italia.net, has posted scans of a lovely new interview with Alex, and a translation into English by kalua.

Here's the link (with thanks to both of those wonderful ladies): http://www.aol-italia.net/index.php?opt ... 0&Itemid=9

It does seem as though the interviewer may have got a few dates/details muddled up, but still, it's lovely to read some new stuff from Alex - and there are some delightful pics. :cloud9:

He just always seems to be such a nice, decent, grounded person, doesn't he? :happysigh:

Maybe my kids would like to go live with him for awhile... Lord knows, they act up one more time today, I'm willing to ship em off to somebody, somewhere... :mdrama:

I don't know how accurate this is, but I would have loved to see Alex as Bill in True Blood. That would have been awesome!!! I didn't know his son lived with him. I think that just endears him more to me somehow.

Thanks for the great article, Redwinter.
The fact that Alex is raising Saxon by himself, just makes me admire him all the more. I too, had to bring up my son on my own and although it was hard sometimes, the joy and the closeness that you have watching your child grow makes it all worthwhile and so much more. Alex is right; relationships will come and go, but the bond that you develop with your child will last forever... Well done, Alex!

I'm leaning out of the window here with speculation but I don't buy the "raising his son alone" thing. He might have said he's a single father and it was translated into "raising his son alone". Then it was translated back into English, there might be things lost in translation.
I doubt Alex has time to really raise his son, and a kid can't travel round the world all the time, there's school. He may be with Alex during holidays, or while Alex isn't filming. I just doubt that they got the details right.

I've read this article a couple of times now, and I think francis has the right take on this. A lot could have been lost in translation, and with Alex's career requiring him to be all over the world, I just can't see how he could be raising this child on his own. If he is, God bless him.

Case in point about how things can get lost in translation - the end bit about Alex 'revealing himself' to Glamour - I sincerely hope not, for everybody's sake. :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:
