Thank you for this interesting interview. I read it at least partly before somewhere, but it was a nice reread. Warm colors and no excess, yes, that's Mick. Almost Zen.
And a painted ceiling a la Vatican! I never made that connection but it fits.

Oh, that is just lovely. How I miss this show... so much thought went into each aspect of it. No wonder it was so great.
