Dear members & guests,
Currently I am in the process of moving house, and so I’m mostly off the grid for the time being. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience if you have been trying to contact me for any reason.
I expect to be back online (regularly) by Monday, August 23.

Hey everyone!
The nice people at my new ISP company finally caught the gremlins - or in other words, they fixed the 20th century wiring in my new home - and got my broadband connected.
So I'm finally back now.
I believe that everyone who needs an office has one, (thanks, Alle), but if you need me for anything, I'll actually be around now.

I also believe that I've responded to all the PMs, but occasionally some get lost in the shuffle, so if you haven't received a response from me, please re-send the original PM or tell me the date you sent it, and I'll find it.
Now I need to go back to the
dungeon admin panel and get back to doing something useful.

Almost forgot - once some "electronic paperwork"

is finished, we'll be doing the much needed upgrade. We haven't decided on a date yet, but we will give at least 24 hrs notice, and naturally The Motel will be open for business, with all the usual amenities.

francis - thank you for the link.

But how did you get your hands on a portrait of me...?
DSR - thank you.

Yeah, I really need a gremlin trainer or exterminator or something!
Grace - thank you.

Yeah, there's no place like home, and all that.
jen - thank you.

Things have definitely taken a turn for the better recently, after all the madness.
M-V - thank you.

It's good to be home.

Phee, Google knows everything about everyone, don't we know that by now?

HotMicks!

At the risk of tempting the Broadband Gods, yes, I'm back. New home. New internet connection with a new ISP. So far, so good.
I always trusted that the board was in safe hands - but I've been going nutty (read:
nuttier than usual) being off the grid.

I've missed you all sooo very much.
Um ... "Phoenix 2.0"?

No pressure then, thanks HM.
Sharon, put it this way, the gentleman who occasionally fixes my computer mutters about
the problem existing between the chair and the keyboard ... but I swear to Bob, the internet breakdown was not my fault.

It was the fault of the ISP.
It's good to be home now.

They ALWAYS try to blame it on that last USB connection sweetie. I know my ISP does that too. So far they have luckily been proven wrong
