NSTAV -- the worst screen test ever

With a "watch and chat" scheduled tonight as part of our 2nd birthday celebration, I decided to try an come up with something fresh related to the first episode of our beloved Moonlight. As you all know, the show was almost completely recast after the original pilot was shot. While we have no idea, how exhaustive the talent search was, there were surely some performances that didn't cut it.
Here for your
edification,
viewing pleasure -- uh, bewilderment -- is quite possibly the worst screen test ever.

Huh...
Well, practice makes perfect and it is amazing what a little rehearsal and makeup can do. Maybe it is the props and the staging. I don't know.
Interesting.
I don't exactly know what to say to this...

It's actually a website,
grace -- xtranormal.com -- where you can choose one or 2 characters, select their voices, type in a script and then specify camera angles, facial expressions and limited movement of the figures. I did this one quite a while ago, when there were many fewer choices. I always wished I could have gotten a better likeness for Josef, but there was no good "Josef" hair.

I do like that his lips are a bit stained, though, like they were in that scene.
Anyway, tonight I thought "what the heck" and posted it for giggles.

I love you, Lilly!!!
I think the deadpan way the Kostan wannabe was talking actually made sense, but he talked a bit slow. I finally understood what he was saying.
Mick wasn't that bad. But I'm still glad they chose someone else.
