What? They are bitching on twitter, or on the People site, or where?
And how tacky is that? Whatever happened to losing with grace? If having your very own page in this issue can even be considered losing...
What is wrong with fans theses days?!

If people only were so outspoken and took so much time to aid world peace or something.
Heck, write letters for Amnesty International or work in a soup kitchen if you want to do something useful with your time.

I am seriously gobsmacked.
These people have nothing more important to worry about??
If they need problems in their lives, I've got a whole hell of a lot of 'em I'd be happy to share.

Just...
ETA: went and read one of the "protest" articles.
15 people.
15.
Reporting on this is the problem and makes it seem like a much bigger deal than a handful of nutjobs with too much time on their hands. As for the Starpulse article, while they're right about Alex, they can't even spell his name right, so they get a big, fat pffffffffft as well.

Well, if 15 Lauren-haters picketed outside CBS HQ with Kono masks on, they'd get laughed at. But 15 Lauren-haters posting evil blogs and comments and tweets filled with venom and spite? Now, that hurts.
On the other hand, and more to the point of this thread, I suppose... *Alle mods self firmly* our Alex has a whole page this year, with one of my favorite pictures. Sure beats sharing a page with Zac Ephron last year, and that tiny pic two years ago in the "Sexy at Any Age" section, huh?

The most sexist man in the universe? I dunno... there's some awfully sexist guys out there. As for being the sexiest man in the universe, well... sorry, Bob. That job's already been filled.

Re: People's Sexiest Men 2011
So happy that Alex gets a page to himself. Who the heck would want to compete with that anyhow?
As for me, I'd be perfectly delighted with either Ryan Gosling or Bradley Cooper. Ryan is a bit edgier and has that hard to pinpoint sexiness about him and Bradley is simply gorgeous. Both are winners in my book.
The only reason I see that Alex doesn't end up on the cover is because they want someone who is super well known who will sell lots and lots of copies- it's a business and financial decision. That's why there are very rarely any surprises. I actually thought that Bradley Cooper would have gotten the title last year. There's not a huge pool to choose from, IMO.

Nobody's gonna spoil this for me. I flipped thru the mag looking for the timy pic in the pink shirt I was expecting and found "O'Hottie" on his own page.
