Cassy

I couldn't agree more. Mick is still traumatized by his Turning, but after making the decision to be returned to save his Beth, a lot of his issues seemed to improve.

Thank you

Jenna

Beth has made the plunge and is waiting for Mick to catch up. Great story in only 100 words. I love the end.

Thanks, Francis!

Beth is an intelligent observer and she figures most of the rest out. Someone once observed that what her mind doesn't tell her, her heart does.

Thank you, Cassy!

I agree that Beth was very intelligent, and sometimes we learn as much or more from what is not said than from what is. Mick told Beth that he was a monster, but who could look into those eyes and that face and believe him? Being around him for a few months wouldn't enlighten her--he was charming, too!

But Beth was no fool. She got it.

Thanks for reading and leaving that lovely comment!
