Many of us have discovered bands through Moonlight and have gone on to love other songs by them. Do you have any favorites? Care to share...?
Today, I found out that Kiss Me," a delightfully sweet song that was popular in the late 1990's, was by the band Sixpence None the Richer--featuring none other than the wonderful Leigh Nash of Fauxliage. Two of Fauxliage's hauntingly beautiful songs were featured in Moonlight -- "All the World" at the end of Dr. Feelgood, and "Let It Go" in the shower scene of B.C. I absolutely love Fauxliage--wish they'd done more than one album.
Wow--why didn't I recognize Leigh Nash's voice before?! It's so distinctive, I can't believe I didn't put two and two together long before this. On the other hand, it's always wonderful to find Moonlight connections, and that doesn't happen too often anymore... so maybe I'm happy I only just realized this. I've been having so much fun today, finding Sixpence None the Richer songs on youtube...
Here is Sixpence None the Richer's Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sixpence_None_the_Richer

They also did "There She Goes": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMfXeuv4kZE
And "Don't Dream It's Over": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bdOefF_tyU
And a bunch more stuff that is less well known. They supposedly have a new album coming out in May of this year!

Didn't want to start a new topic for this... I found this article that has a leaked list of booking fees for TONS of music acts and noticed that a few Moonlight-related bands were on the list.

An even more bizarre Fauxliage fact is that the other members of Fauxliage are from the band Front Line Assembly who did the song "Vanished" in Moonlight (heard when Mick is in the bathtub in "Fever") -- talk about different music styles!allegrita wrote: Today, I found out that Kiss Me," a delightfully sweet song that was popular in the late 1990's, was by the band Sixpence None the Richer--featuring none other than the wonderful Leigh Nash of Fauxliage.

Re: Other music by Moonlight musical artists
I just discovered a song by Leigh Nash, Bill Leeb, and Rhys Fulber (who later teamed up as Fauxliage) from an album they did earlier, called Poem. The collaboration was so successful that they decided to team up for a whole album (thank goodness!). The song is so dreamy and sad, I love it. In fact, the whole album is gorgeous.
