Simone left Paris behind after several years. She truly adored the “City of Lights” but she missed Los Angeles. So it was with a heavy heart that she gave her notice and said her goodbyes to all of her newly acquired friends.

She arrived in Los Angeles with one thing on her mind.

Josef Kostan the love of her life had gotten married if you could believe that. And according to her source the woman was gorgeous and a vampire to boot. But Simone knew Josef. And while she didn’t know his wife, she knew that vampires were never monogamous.

She decided she would contact Mick St. John first. Maybe he could give her some information.

Mick sat at his desk waiting for the phone to ring. It had been months since he had a case. Even Carl had nothing for him. So when he heard someone at the door he answered it immediately.

“Mick St. John! Hello, you probably don’t remember me…” Simone began to say.
“Simone, of course I remember you. Long time no see” He said letting her inside. “So what have you been up to?”
“I’ve been in Paris for the past 8 years working. I only just arrived back in town.” She said.
“So are you here to stay?”
“I’m not sure yet…..” she said hesitantly. Mick knew that how long she stayed would depend on Josef.
“Have you seen Josef” Mick asked.
“No, actually. I heard he got married. I never would have guessed that!” She said with a light chuckle.
“Yeah we were all surprised by that one” Mick said. Beth walked in the door.
“Hey babe” She said then she stopped when she saw Simone. “Oh my God! Simone! How are you?” she said hugging the woman.
“I’m fine Beth!” She said hugging her back. “Wow! Look at you, you look amazing…..”She said her voice trailing off “Wow! You’re a vampire.” She said.
“Yeah.” Beth said with smile.
“Congratulations….I think….I’m sorry, I don’t know what I’m supposed to say” Simone stammered.

Interesting.

Simone has been out of the picture for a while, but for Josef the world has moved on (clearly).

I really hope Simone and Isabel can become friends.

We will see...

Simone seems to be bouncing around a bit, not sure of her place in life, and I get the feeling she would love to be a vampire too. But it all depends on how she is with Josef and if she behaves around Isabel.

You know. Simone was such an interesting character although we only know of her from the last episode, so it's kind of hard to structure a story around her, but I thought I would give it a go.

Beth smiled at the woman.
“Congratulations works” Beth said.
Simone stared at Mick and Beth still as much in love as they were when she first met them.
“Well, I better get going. I’ve got a million things to do…maybe we could all get together.” She said picking up her handbag and heading for the door.
“We’d like that” Mick said as he watched her leave. “I’ll go talk to Josef” Mick said grabbing his keys.
“And I’ll go talk to Isabelle” Beth said following his lead.


“Simone Walker?” Josef said in surprise with a smile on his face. There had been a time when Josef actually saw himself being with Simone forever, but she never wanted to be turned and chose to leave L.A. rather than deal with the situation. “Did she say what why she was back in town?”
“No. She was kind of vague. Like she wanted to ask something but didn’t” Mick said looking at his friend.
“Well that doesn’t sound like the Simone I know” Josef joked.
“Look, I’m just warning you….I know you love Isabelle. I get that, but Simone being back in Los Angeles is a big deal” Mick said.
“It’s only a big deal if I let it become a big deal” Josef said with wave of his hand.

“How are things Isabelle?” Beth asked.
“Things are well. I went to visit Brian and played with Abigail. She is getting bigger by the week” Isabelle said.
“I know! She is quite the beauty…..uh Isabelle, I wanted to talk to you about something…..Do you remember Simone Walker?” Beth asked.
“Yes.” Isabelle said.
“Well she’s back in Los Angeles. She stopped by our apartment a little while ago.”
Isabelle’s face was as unreadable as ever, but Beth could see her eyes narrow a bit.
“What does she want?” She asked.
“She really didn’t say…but..I thought you should know.” Beth said finally.
“Thank you Beth.” Isabelle said quietly.

Isabelle walked into Josef’s office to discuss their upcoming meeting with Microsoft and saw Simone Walker herself sitting across from Josef laughing seductively.

Yikes!

Isabel is not one to take a threat lying down...well...you know what I mean.

Will she and Simone handle this like adults? I really hope so, because if the fangs come out, Simone is a fond memory.

Josef looked up and smiled.
“Simone, I’d like you to meet my wife Isabelle. Isabelle you remember Simone Walker” Josef said.

Simone stared at the woman walking towards her. The woman was for lack of a better word stunning. Although she never imagined that Josef would marry someone plain, this woman…was almost other worldly.

“We have never met formally” Isabelle said offering her hand.
Simone stood up and shook the woman’s hand. Josef studied both women with amusement.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Isabelle” Simone said calmly “Well Josef, I will leave you to your work. I just wanted to stop by and say hello”
“I’m glad you did. So what are your plans?” Josef asked.
“You know…I’m not sure yet. So much has changed since I left. I think I just want to stroll around a bit and take everything in.” She said keeping her eyes on Josef so he would know her intent.
“Well, Isabelle and I would be glad to show you around all the hot spots” Josef said with a chuckle.
“That’s an idea for sure” She said.


Isabelle watched the woman leave then turned calmly towards Josef who threw up his hands.
“Hey, she came to me” He laughed.
“Oh of that I have no doubt. Must all women want you so desperately Josef Kostan?” She said quietly

Simone sat in the hotel bar sipping a gin and tonic. Why had she gone to Kostan Industries? Josef was a married man. And married to a goddess!
This wasn’t like her. She couldn’t break up a marriage. Why did I ever leave she thought to herself.

“You know a beautiful woman like you shouldn’t be alone” she heard a deep voice say next her. She turned and saw a gorgeous man with light brown hair sitting next to her at the bar. She looked at the man. Then she smiled.
Maybe moving back to Los Angeles would work for her after all.

“Who would have thought? Simone Walker and Joshua Lambert?” Mick laughed.
“True love calls in mysterious ways” Josef joked. But he too thought it was odd that Simone just happened to meet one of his clients and fall in love. For some reason he thought maybe Isabelle had orchestrated the meet up.
But then he shook the thought from his head. That didn’t sound like Isabelle at all.







The End

Well, maybe it wasn't Isabelle but it sure is a nice coincidence. I'm glad Simone wasn't out to wreck Josef's marriage. She was just drifting. I hope she finds happiness with Lambert.

Well, that was a nice ending.

Mr. Lambert may not be Simone's forever love, but I don't know what she is looking for right now. I don't think Simone knows, to be truthful about it. I really hoped that Simone and Isabel would wind up as good friends. Maybe in a future story.

This is cute! And who cares if Isabelle set them up? Everyone ended up happy.
