I'm not sure that was actually a screencap, Grace. I think it might be a promo still which means that it wasn't actually in the aired episode.

And I'm going to comment on something that will probably get the cutlery and china thrown at me.....I love the bat coat (the loooong coat Mick is wearing), but I HATE it buttoned up on him like that! There....I said it. I feel better now. Commence the launch of breakables.

LOL Red! I agree on the batcoat as well. It's not that he looks bad, as we know that's just not possible, but it certainly isn't sexy like seeing it move along with him.

I agree, Sis...

...one of the cool things about the way Alex and Shannyn worked this couple out, is that there is that comfortable, settled in vibe between them whenever they are interacting as Mick and Morgan...

...they may be disagreeing--like when she tells him they need to get their money and that Haggens isn't gonna kill for the burger--or he may be sniffing her out-- like the scene at her apartment when he gets the fingerprints-- but there is just this been there/done that vibe. They are an old couple and they've found each other again... for better OR worse... but they fit together. They've had 33 years of fitting together. There is none of that "get to know you" vibe. That's acting.

And she totally underplays any "villainous" vibe too... she plays this straight, which I just love.

Hi Ladies - I hope I'm not imposing as I'm a MickBeth shipper but.....I had to comment on the FDL picture - its gorgeous. The Ringer set Coraline perfectly up as the villian - which I thought was a great move for the show - all shows need a villian. The end scene especially..the music, the look on her face, revealing the tatoo etc - I was like "oh yeah...bring it on". But when we got to FDL I found her really quite sweet. I loved the banter between her and Mick - like the photo points out - they were so comforable with each other. It made me think the 33year old marriage wasn't all hell - like we had been made believe. Its a shame we didn't get any flashbacks of the nice times between Mick and Coraline - because FDL showed they were cute together. By the end of TMC I was like - Mick - you have to go and save her, she sacrificed herself for you, and she really does love you.

LOL! Many of us started out MickBethers too, Marg, but the acting and the chemistry between these two eventually got to us... so you better watch out!

But you are very right... nobody stays married 33 years if it's all bad... and like you said, once you see how cute she can be, and how much they enjoy each other, you get the attraction. Whatever issues they had, and they clearly had them, they had passion and they had compatibility, at least at times.

And the MickCora Sisters aren't all in lockstep, Sweetie... some don't like MickBeth, some do but like Cora too, some see him ending up with Cora at some point in the future, some see their time having passed but that she's not the "villain"... she just made an uncalculated error with his turing...

But we all agree she was pretty cool to have known out how special Mick was, even in his human days... and WE ALL agree he needed to go rescue the girl!!!!

Hey, MoonMarg . So lovely to see you here - always welcome. I agree with you and with Grace - the idea that Mick stayed married to Coraline for 33 years and every single moment was sheer torture from which he was desperately trying to escape is a little ridiculous. And insulting to Mick. Coraline's facets give Mick complexity and depth; without having known her, dealt with her, changed because of what he experienced with her, he wouldn't be the Mick we all know and love.

But you know what's so sad about that pic?? The poor bridegroom never even got his trousers off! Poor Mick! Just never meant to get any nookie (from what we saw anyway). Cora couldn't even wait until....after....to bestow this gift.

Tho she coulda cleaned him up a bit... I guess she is used to having a housekeeper...

And yeah, she was a bit overeager... tho maybe there's some vamp-thing where he needed the stamina to survive the turning... and now she permanently (or so she thinks) has a vamp in her bed... if fanfic is to be believed, she's gonna make up for missing that one night many times over...

And as far as Mick/Cora...or plain Cora fic they are in my office ( no index yet.) She really does lend herself to many Cora fics in my mind....


And you can so see the ease the two of them have with each other while working together. Like they were meant to work together. ITA that everyone has Cora as the bag gal in the show. But she was only doing for Mick what she thought he would want...a gift. She was not doing it to punish him. EVERYTHING she did from turning him to kidnapping Beth was done FOR Mick. To make him happy, she wanted him happy. Though she may have had some off the wall notions on how to keep him happy.
