Usually the forearm tats are pretty murky and faded even before this shoot, so I have a feeling that the photographer was using some sort of filter or lens gel to make those colors really pop. That right forearm tat is probably the darkest I've ever seen it. We might even be able to discern what it is if it was in focus. There are good clear shots of a couple of the tats though!

Yeah that must be that, it's particularly this picture where it's really dark.
