I see they hit half of their funding! Yeah! We must see this movie.
Kind of wish I lived closer to the action.

Ok here's an idea to help with promoting the film, (and a good excuse to post that picture of Jason again

), what about if people organised a 'Pizza Night', and everyone ordered Pizza from 'Ol Joes' (or it's near to equivalent). I looked it up, and there's something very similar in America called 'Same Ol' Joes'. There could be orders for Pizza made all in the same night, with everyone who orders mentioning that the movie Searching for Sonny is what influenced them to choose 'Same Ol' Joes' pizza's, *insert brief explanation why*. I'm thinking along the lines of piquing interest, getting people talking, word of mouth, and so on. Something that targets more of the real world, rather than just support/promotion online.
What do you guys think? Lame idea? Good idea? Unworkable? Could be a goer????? etc etc.
What about other general promo ideas, anyone got anything they've thought of. Anyway we can help promote and support the movie more?

Awww...I had already made plans or I would have loved to have gone to be an extra!! I still can't believe they are filming this movie here!! Shelton and I drove by Ol South Pancake House on the night they were filming there too, I think! ARG! Well, oh well, I'll definitely see the movie when it comes out and go "OMG, I know that place!" Hehe.

Yeah, they're looking for extras ALL the time. Join up with the Facebook group, they post regular calls for Extras on there. At the moment they mainly need people who can pass for 28 (Christy that's you easily). Keep checking on FB, something's bound to come up that you can make it to.
(and then post details on here, DETAILS! Lots and lots of DETAILS!!!

)

There's a ton of new pics up at the Facebook page, including some very swoon worthy shots of Jason.

He's so cute.
You know I go to their pages and look over the movie shots and all I can think is how come Jason isn't in all of these. I know the pics are concerning everyone but I still think Jason should be in every picture. I just can't help it.

Look, Josef is back and protecting his territory!
He's so darn funny!
In looking at the photos I find myself being partial to the young man with the sideburns. He had the lead role in that fake trailer that was so incredibly funny.

Haha, yeah I love this picture. That is such a Josef shot.
And yeah, I must admit that other guy you mention is pretty cute in his own right.

S4S is such a cool project to follow- and not just because of the ultra-cute pictures of Jason ;)
I really really wish I lived closer so I could check out the scenes and be an extra. The whole process of arranging such things via facebook and interacting with fans, and also giving plenty of spotlight to the backstage guys (!!!) and not just the star cast all make you feel like you're part of it :)
I hope the people I emailed about articles finally reply- I want to help spread the word. I think this can be a good inspiration for other young filmmakers.

That pic of Jason with the delightful, elfin grin...was worth getting out of bed early to see. What a lovely sight in the morning!
