I saw the promo on CW Ch 16 after Supernatural on Thursday night..no Alex, tho. But, it is getting lots of publicity on a variety of stations!

I got a note from MyImmortal. She was watching Aliens on AMC tonight, and there was a promo for Whiteout, including a couple of movie clips and also short interview clips with Kate Beckinsale and Alex (with some other guy, she didn't know who). It happened at 10pm Eastern time. Just a 60-90 second thing, but there might be more interview footage floating around. She said it was obviously filmed recently, he has his Dr. Andy hair. And he was wearing a very brightly colored shirt.

So if you get AMC and you're on the West coast, turn Aliens on (it starts at 8pm, in 10 minutes!) and keep your eyes peeled!

Unfortunately, I don't get it...

Unfortunately, I don't get it...

This was on during the last hour of Aliens on AMC this evening (5-8pm ET). They show clips of Kate first, then Alex with Gabriel Macht. I didn't catch all the very short dialogue but Alex did say something about "running across the ice naked" and unless it's a different interview to the one alle mentions above, Alex was wearing a black shirt with light coloured tie.

Okay, I have four movies opening next weekend that I would like to see Whiteout, I Can Do Bad All By Myself,with Brian White. Sorority Row and Beyond a Reasonable Doubt. I'm going to the racetrack on Saturday I better win big to afford all of them.

I will go see Whiteout first then probably Sorority Row because of my horror passion.

I can't find any info on how many screens are showing Whiteout in the UK but looking at the other new releases for 11th September, there, um, isn't much competition:

The only one of those I've seen get the same kind of trailer time in the UK is Julie & Julia. I know which one I'll be going to see.

ETA: I saw another trailer for Whiteout today while visiting my brother but this time it didn't have Alex in it.
