Re: Alex on CM: "The Big Wheel" - SPOILER thread
I wonder if he went to the Ferris Wheel with Stan as a kind of parting gift. The boy said they were moving to California, and was stacking boxes.
Maybe that's what made Vincent reach out to the police, kind of an acknowledgement that Stan made him see, kind of another parting gift that Stan wouldn't know about. Being shot was a nuisance, but he couldn't let that stop his parting gift for Stan at his birthday, it was just more important.
I felt so bad for him when he tried to heal himself with the saran wrap, kind of a neat imagery. Keeping himself from bleeding, keeping from staining, and like his milkwhite bread, he would stay "fresh" just a bit longer to finish up what he had promised.

ETA: There is a big spoiler in the above if you're outside the states and haven't watched CM yet. Sorry, should have thought to include this warning when first posting

I totally agree with her, but it's not nice to spoil the ending.

It was put out today so we all in the states have seen it; but I don't think they think about other countries!

Nielsen has the ratings for this episode at 13.27 million; with a 2.1/6 share in the 18-34 demo. Looks like the ratings are on par with previous weeks, so new huge uptick in numbers. But on the bright side, no downturn in the numbers either.

So the CM producers better send that episode for a potential nomination at the Emmys.

Is there a category for best performance by a guest star in a series drama?
If not, there should be.... great story, great acting by some victims, one killer and one incredibly charming boy who lost so much

This has all been fascinating reading! I want to thank everyone for their insight, and especially those dealing with OCD themselves for shedding some light on this to the rest of us.
I have only watched the episode once, last night, but I taped it. Will give it another go around tonight, and will keep in mind everything I learned here.
Yes, it is just like the old ML discussions after each new episode! /C'mon, Three Rivers.../

I'm sure they will, Jade, along with the script as well and the directing. I think all three deserve at least a submission to the Emmys. Almost 24 hours later and I'm still misty eyed over Vincent. That ending scene alone is emmy-winning worthy.Jade wrote:So the CM producers better send that episode for a potential nomination at the Emmys.

Ah! ITA Amy... and I don't usually cry! But I felt so for Vincent... he was so quiet, even watching his victims die... and he so totally did NOT want to kill pushy ol' Alice... and he so loved that boy. What a sad sad man... and no one... NO ONE... in that man's life ever had a clue and helped him.
The look on his face when he was shot... he just didn't know what to make of that! And as you said, the ending part... with the boy... OMG!!! This performance is amazing and I watched it again today... so I really LOVED it even more the second time.... Gah!!!!
