Random thought here: Alex did such a wonderful job with the Red Cross re: blood donations, I can definitely see organ donation PSA's in his future. Seriously, if he has half-way decent representation, they should be all over that possibility.

Lisa, yes, organ donation is so important, 100% Alex would be their guy!Fleur de Lisa wrote:Random thought here: Alex did such a wonderful job with the Red Cross re: blood donations, I can definitely see organ donation PSA's in his future. LOL!! I LOVE your positivity Fleur!
Sure, he can pimp organ donations if the show gets picked up... pesky little detail that's gotta come first... but I LOVE your positivity!!!

grace, have to agree with Fleur 100% here, IF this show gets picked up, what is the first thing this fan base will start? If he can start pimping organs, I'm thinking livers first, with Alex and Moonlight fans.wpgrace wrote:LOL!! I LOVE your positivity Fleur!

Re: CBS pilot: Three Rivers -- Is Alex on board?
Wow, we weren't starved for some news to chew over, huh?
(man, I'm so glad I finally found a way to use that smiley... of course, I could have just thrown it in any thread where Lucy and Ethel, er, I mean Grace and Fleur, post
)
Anyway, I was remiss in my previous posts to not mention the gratuitous pajama scene opening in that same episode
. Talk about an obvious "hips up, baby" camera pan
. Now, they once again found a very plausible reason for the "skinage," and the anchor shot of the "coffee pot" was acceptable, but you still knew they knew what we had been posting. And we know for a fact from the writer's panel at the LA con that they incorporated some fan stuff into the show, so I'm just saying... Still, I have to admit I'm conflicted
because I did enjoy the episode and the "visuals."
Anyway, in keeping with the coffee scene, I did LOVE the choice of song there and I believe that is Alex's theme song:
"Today's the day you hold the world with your song"
"... Let him sing, let him be heard..."
"And if you believe in it, then yes it will come true"
And of course:
"This is the time
This is the day that we've been waiting for
All the world will stop to watch you shine."

ETA: Sorry, getting vury, vury
... AOL will SHINE in THREE RIVERS as a (hot
) transplant surgeon

That song fit the scene perfectly!
It was very upbeat and Mick St. John never looked more alive! A true credit to Alex and his acting ability to make us actually feel how happy and beautiful it was for him, a vampire in the dark too long, to finally see the light of day! I was smiling right along with him and could almost feel the warmth radiating from him!

I had to giggle at them calling him a nice BOY. I didn't realize that blog was associated with Moonlight-Detective until I clicked on one of their links and it took me to the MLD site.MSJ_sunglasses wrote:No new news, but a little title for Alex![]()

No new news here, but more pilot news I'm not real happy about what they said but any publicity as they say is good publicity.

I agree Mags - I thought they were being deliberately provocative. Ho hum...Mags wrote:No new news here, but more pilot news I'm not real happy about what they said but any publicity as they say is good publicity.
