If you could have just one picture...

In the actors' forum, I started a thread where folks could post the ONE picture of Jason that they would choose if they could have only one. Because Josef, the character, is a separate entity from Jason, the actor, I thought we might have a dedicated thread to answer the question here.

So, if you could have only ONE picture of Josef, which one would it be? Which one says it all for you?

Wonderful choice, btw. Strangely, I'm having a much harder choosing one Josef pic than I had choosing one Jason pic.

If I may ... I don't have many Josef pics, but this is probably my all-time favourite. He just looks sublime in this shot.

Arrggghh! I'd posted my pick for Josef over in the other thread, but after seeing Carol's, I was reminded about how much I truly love that one too!

OK, I'll stick with the one I picked before only so that we can have both her choice and mine here in this thread.

It IS hard to choose just one. I love the one that Phee added. but this is my all time favorite pic of him. I think I would melt if he looked at me like that.

These are all good. And it is truly almost impossible for me to narrow it to one. But here's one of the top contenders...and why. This shot to me, conveys the wit, and the wisdom (there's just that hint of tired, ancient experience), and the style. The mobile, expressive face, and the lovely hands.



But really, just one? I could pick twenty, and not come close to finding the limits of Josef's mercurial moods, and stunning personality.

I loved this scene at the end of BC, and the rueful smile on Josef's face. (I cropped Mick out, since this is a thread about Josef, but part of what I loved was the warmth between them, the camaraderie and support.) I think that Josef was beautifully lit throughout this episode.
