Not that this might not have changed since last I interviewed him, but last fall he was very intent on changing the direction of his career. He basically wanted to transition into leading man territory and less character actor and that's a difficult thing to do. Who doesn't want to be a lead? I wouldn't be surprised if he's not so much getting fewer offers, but taking less of the ones he's getting. Just food for thought for the Jason peeps...

Right now, I hope he is enjoying the luxury of being able to choose carefully in order to influence the direction of his career. I have to imagine that having his face "out there" in a few quality roles would be to his benefit, however. And, if the guest-starring role on Party Down and the ensemble role in Body Politic are any indication, it seems like he must be open to some alternatives in the meantime.

I don't for a minute think he can't get work. I just miss seeing him.

Any one of them would involve some serious acting and some serious Jason without-his-shirt opportunities..
