If you read a lot of books you are considered well read. But if you watch a lot of TV, you're not considered well viewed. Lilly Tomlin

Grateful to Alex for Mick, Andy, and McG. :)

I've gone from being really sad to being really pissed. :grumble: I mean, 1 episode is not enough to judge the show on. However I still can't understand how it rated so low - 499 000 viewers - thats amazingly low. Even ML used to get around the 700k mark I think. The lead in was NCIS LA which had 1 million viewers which is considered good numbers. How it fell so low after that I am at a loss to explain. :gasp: I'm starting to think people just don't like the premise of the story so are unwilling to give it a go. I know I few of my friends said it sounded really boring, after I had explained the show to them so didn't want to watch. I guess when it comes to medical shows, people either like reality shows or soap opera style ones, and poor old TR is probably stuck somewhere in between. :hankie:

:giggle: I'm afraid Grace with the numbers TR got on Wednesday night (and we even had the correct episode to premiere) there would only be enough tea for a cuppa!!

hmmm..... pulled off air here after only one episode. I suppose I'm going to have to duck tomatoes because I gave this a go the other night to see what vehicle CBS put our boy in after the ML decision debacle and I have to say I was sorely disappointed. PUtting it in context, the only medical series I've ever really warmed to is 'Scrubs', but having said that, I thought the show was fairly two dimensional, I didn't think any of the characters were particularly likeable, and the transplant of the week lacked tension. I agree with something Lilly said earlier about the writers making Yablonski too perfect. Where was the interesting story arc conflict created by character flaws such as an addiction a la House or Nurse Jackie, or neurotic insecurity a la JD in Scrubs? I reckon some of the writers on this board could write a more interesting vehicle for Alex than it seems the CBS staffers can.

Wow, this a really bad sign, I believe. People all over the globe apparently think TR is a bit of a snooze. We are just biased 'cuz our guy is in it. You know, it could get a lot better but it's really difficult to overcome a bad start like this. I'll keep watching and hoping.

Thanks, JIMS. Not only do we get a lovely interview and pic of Alex, we get a Lennie James pic too! Be still my heart.

And on an unrelated and :offtopic: note, I've seen a few posts here from people who didn't like or were underwhelmed by the show and quite a few make reference to having to duck tomatoes. Just for the record, not a single tomato has been chucked anywhere on this thread. Like the show or don't like the show, your posts are welcome.
