If - a Mick Beth Drabble and a third - (rated PG) REPOST

Hi,

Usually, when something with my name shows up here, it's long, devious and procedural (hey, it's what I do).

This started running around in my head last night, so I decided to let it out (the only way I'll get any peace). I think of it as the key elements of Mick and Beth's relationship up through 12:04.

I don't own any of the characters (CBS and Joel Silver do) and any quotes from the series are made with the utmost respect for the authors.

I think it's a drabble, but since I'm not entirely sure what a drabble is....anyway, I hope you like it.

Thanks and I'm glad you found it....I don't profess to be a poet (you know what I write), but this was just something that popped into my head one day. I was trying to pick out the key images or phrases from each of the first half of the series, where the relationship between Mick and Beth develops from a not-so-chance meeting to the discovery of the Guardian Angel's identity.

thank you both so much! This piece developed as I was thinking about how Beth's trust had been gained so long ago, then then Mick's established after Lee-Jay was shot. I started thinking about how their relationship developed over the course of the show, picking out the key change in each episode through 12:04. Trust led to want, then to love.
