That's my concern too. I looked for a release date for The Baster and most sites have the release date as TBD but one said it would be 4/1/10, so hopefully the timing will work. Also, they're reshooting scenes for it now.

Well, that's strange. Although, don't they say that January is a movie dumping ground, meaning they put all the crap movies on then? Where have I heard that? Hopefully, this means that they think this will be a hit and wanna put it on at a better time in the year.

That's fascinating, Christy--and I hope that the new release date works well for the movie. Alex really deserves a break...

The UK Film Distributors' Association is still listing the UK release date as 26th February. (http://www.launchingfilms.co.uk/releaseschedule/)

I'll keep an eye on it to see if/when it changes - surely they won't release it in the UK first???

The UK release date has now been updated to 19th March 2010. At least we only have to wait a week longer than our US friends - oh but what a loooooooong week it's going to be.

I have no idea - but it's a lovely thought. If he's coming for the premiere, I guarantee you, I shall be there...

I am hoping that there will be a big premiere in New York since JLo is from the Bronx.

I would never go to see a movie called "The Baster". It doesn't get any uglier sounding than that. (Is there a puke icon?)
