Both of those episodes had a moment of "oh my Alex, is getting that look on the roof" and "oh my Alex, is getting p......d moment", and was it just me, or did any one get the Aussie moment when Alex went a little nuts. He can make an episode in a few minutes.

Oh, don't even get me started on the plethora of wonderful facial expressions he exhibited in ep 4. Wow.

I am glad you brought up the accent---is he trying to sound like he's from PA, or is that a lot of Aussie seeping through? I am hearing a lot more of what I think is his accent than I did in ML. Can't quite figure out if he's trying to sound like an authentic Pittsburghian (??) or if it's his natural accent, or maybe the voices in my head making me hear things.

I agree with you Fleur on even episodes. My favorite so far is the second episode they aired. I wasn't crazy about episode three but I enjoyed last Sunday's much more.

I think you hit the nail on the head with ML was Mick/Beth/Josef grounded and this is the transplants not doctor's lives.

I haven't watched a medical show since Trapper John MD (Boy does that date me) I'm here for Alex but I am also enjoying the show.

OMG. Trapper John--with that cutie Gregory...was it Harrison? Whew, that is dating me way too much as well!

The transplant perspective is the focus of the show, my head just needed to adjust to that I guess. It took a bit, but after the last ep, I think I am on the road to recovery/redemption/whatever you wanna call it. I LOVED ep 2---best one yet.

Yes, Gonzo AKA Gregory Harrison, and I had poster of him on my bedroom wall...so that makes me just old and not so much a small world.

When the Gonzo cameo happened this week I knew it would be the real doctor but part of me was waiting for Gregory Harrison.

Or at least that cute Luis Gonzales who used to play for the Astros.

Didn't someone say in some blog for TR that Gonzo was named after that Gonzo, not after the one from the muppet show? I don't remember where I read it.

I have never heard of any of these Gonzos... :rolling:

And I liked ep 3. I liked Alex in ep 3. I liked his little dance with the ipod.
But I liked 2 and 4 too. Number 1... was not number 1. Eh.

Awesome avatar by the awesome, clever, and gracious Lilly.

If you read a lot of books you are considered well read. But if you watch a lot of TV, you're not considered well viewed. Lilly Tomlin

Grateful to Alex for Mick, Andy, and McG. :)

I have a sneaking suspicion that anyone with the first name Gonzalo...or the last name Gonzales, for that matter, is going to, at some point, be tagged with the nickname "Gonzo." It's too easy.
