And I think they wanted something memorable and shocking... they got some crazy ads to compete against and over 2 months before the movie comes out...
The birthing scene is... memorable. :gasp:

:giggle: So the ad for BUP was winning the poll before it even aired...
Now it's all over, the ads will even out, but I find that so... us.

Tho I thought overall the ads in general were kinda boring or overwrought this year...

Last I checked, the BUP ad had 15% of the vote, and the next highest ones, had less than 7%.

Well if there's one thing Alex fans know how to do (apart from wait, Grace) it's vote in online polls...

Sooooooooooooooo, I have a question.
If you go to that BUP interactive site, and go to the cast page and see Alex's resume there... BESIDES the irksome oversight that it omits any mention of ML... it says at the beginning that he had "guest roles"... in what actually?

Was Alex the guest star, or the guest walk-on, or the guest victim du jour, or the guest bar patron #3, etc, in some medley of actual television series??????

Coz THERE"S an Easter Egg Hunt for the fangirls, huh???? Is there some way to find out exactly to what that phrase in his bio refers?

grace  , the only things I could scare up were the guest role in 'Criminal Minds' and a guest role on a show called 'White Collar Blue' which apparently was an Australian series that aired for 2 seasons around 2002 -2003. I don't think his role as Kevin Hiatt in 'The Shield' constitutes a guest role, but perhaps being in only 7 episodes could be construed that way.

ETA - I actually read the bio for Alex on the BUP site....some of the wording seemed awfully familiar, especially listing other cast members from 'August Rush'. So I went to his myspace page and lo and behold there's a lot of the same info, some verbatim, as to what's on the BUP bio.....it looks as though someone went to his myspace page and picked a few nuggets from it. I hope to hell I'm wrong, 'cause I'd like to believe a little more thought went into his bio than that. The alternative isn't very uplifting either....that ML was purposely left off.

I feel like the Rodney Dangerfield of fans...we don't get any respect..

ET has done a new interview with Alex and J Lo. No idea when it's going to air but there's a preview up on their website (Alex looks beautiful, surprise!!, but it's just J Lo speaking in this clip): http://www.etonline.com/news/2010/02/83942/index.html

thanks, red,

J-Lo really likes to 'talk' with her hands, but I have to admit, she looks great.....the guy sitting next to her isn't too shabby, either (I really like the almost beard). So the rest of the interview is tomorrow night!!!

I agree, she looked different, but I think it was the hair style.
