So Lucky, do you think they'll film in L.A. or Hawaii? And does anyone know which Island was the location for the original H2O? I work with someone who has a condo on Maui and gives us a cut rate to rent it.

My feeling is that they'll film in Hawaii, mostly on Oahu (where Honolulu and Waikiki Beach are). Although Hilo is the state capital, and it's on the Big Island... just a hop away from Maui... AND the Big Island has lots and lots of different scenery, so it would be a cool place to set up shop. It's got jungles and rolling grassland and volcanoes and lava beds and beaches (although only a few white sand beaches), and even a little desert!

Well, it seems we have finally narrowed down "Where in the World is Alex?"--thank goodness.

This man does not make it easy to find him. But the pay-off is oh, so rewarding.

HILO? Do we have to learn a new language to watch this show? Cause I have never been there... and it's seeming pretty exotic to me.

BUT wouldn't it mean Alex is closer to home? How long is it to get there from LA? To get there from Sydney? Anyone have a clue?

When I flew to Australia back in the '80's, we stopped in Hawaii so it's one way there.

LA to Hawaii was about 5-6 hours.
LA to Australia was 20-25 hours.
