Me too
I like your “expedition” inside Beth mind, this step-by-step analyze of her feelings, her grief.
This is one of those stories, which have influence on my look at particular scene or episode.
Thank you for this, Darkstarrising

Thanks, Albra and you're very welcome   The shock of Josh's murder has begun to wear off and now she must get on with the rest of her life. First, though, she must come to terms with her loss and say good bye, something that is difficult when one you love has died. If you want to see what went on in Mick's mind just before Josh's funeral, see the companion piece

Karen

Just here for a reread and, although I thought this was fabulous the first time I read it, I believe I got more out of it the second time. I really love the way you write Beth. I, too, feel she had more focus and depth than we saw in that episode. I wondered why they chose to write her that way.

Thank you for providing that depth and perspective.
