Mmmmngh. And what a great place to leave off at, begin anew....sigh...

On the topic of Whiteout, as picky as me and Monsieur Fleur are with movies, we rented it a few weeks ago (never saw it in the theatre b/c it wasn't here long) and he actually thought it wasn't too bad. Which surprised me with the amount of grief he gave me about my desire to see it. I think we both expected it to be laughably horrible, so, the bar was set kinda low. That and he likes Ms. Beckinsale.

Methinks my darling PGal likey the chestal hair region!

Ahhh, my dearest Fleur...how well thou dost know me... :teeth:

And...Whiteout wasn't the worst movie I'd seen. Mr. PNW didn't half-mind it, but he loves Kate Beckinsale.

I admit, I went alone to the theater....but I have Whiteout on DVD....I'll pop it in (again) some night when there's nothing on TV and see what my other half thinks of it....hopefully, he won't recognize Alex....methinks he's getting a tiny bit jealous  Between the Aussie voice and the tats, my guess is he won't.

OMG--we are hereby and forever declaring 'Magifus Alexitus' (or is that magnificus?) a must-use phrase. How many votes will it take to pass this measure?

(I needed to pop in here, b/c at the moment, there are about 12 16 yr olds in my basement. Mama needed some adult time!)

gah!!! I can't spell!!!

you're right, Fleur, it should have been magnificus Alexitis!! Key symptoms include, but are not limited to: hyper excitation, palpitations, elevated temperature, with periodic bouts of drooling :happysigh: :happysigh:

Sooooo... you popped in HERE because???? :rolling:
Because may I point out ma Fleur, that just because we can (sorta) use and (sorta) spell faux Latin phrases like Magnificus Alexitis, that does not make us "adults" in the sense of "mature" if that's what you were going for. Particularly in THIS thread.

Tho if you wanted a place where you could squee and imply sexual overtones inappropriate for teenage audiences... well here we are.

(And I got 6 of em upstairs tonite myself...may I say, all drama, all the time... :mdrama:  )

Indeed we are  Besides, if JK Rowling can mangle Latin in good fun, why shouldn't we? :snicker:
